Concierge Collection in the South Sound
A hospitality-first approach for property owners and guests

For more than a decade, Concierge Collection has served property owners and guests across the South Sound, managing privately owned homes while creating furnished stays designed to offer more space, privacy, and personal service than a traditional hotel.
Founded by Jenell Thompson in 2013 as Corporate Condo Collection, the Tacoma-based company has evolved into Concierge Collection, a boutique, full-service furnished rental management company.

“We pioneered taking privately owned properties and operating them as polished short-term rentals here in the Northwest,” Jenell explains.
The company works with real estate investors, absentee homeowners, and property owners who want professional, hands-off management. On the guest side, Concierge Collection serves traveling professionals, relocating families, medical visitors, insurance-displaced households and vacationers.
Its portfolio features distinctive, well-appointed homes, including waterfront properties, architecturally significant residences and homes with views throughout the South Sound.
“We have intentionally chosen a quality-over-quantity framework, so every home we take on receives the full attention it deserves,” Jenell adds.
That attention begins before the first reservation. The team walks each property, coordinates professional photography, evaluates inventory, and prepares everything from linens to kitchen essentials. Listings are optimized, while dynamic pricing technology adjusts nightly rates based on demand, seasonality, and local events.
Once guests arrive, management becomes more personal.
The company’s team and AI-assisted messaging handle guest communication around the clock, while an in-house housekeeping team prepares homes between stays to hotel-level standards. The team often tailors each stay to the people arriving. An anniversary stay may include fresh flowers and wine, while a late-night military relocation might prompt the team to stock breakfast essentials before check-in.
“This is a business, but it is personal for me,” Jenell says. “I founded the company in 2013, and after more than a decade of doing this work, I still think of us as a hospitality company first.”
That philosophy also extends to the properties themselves. Concierge Collection oversees routine maintenance details that can be overlooked when a home is vacant or managed remotely. HVAC filters are changed on schedule, appliances follow preventive-maintenance routines, and turnover cleanings double as inspections, letting the team catch small concerns before they become larger repairs.

Its hybrid rental model allows properties to accommodate both short-term, 2-29 night stays and mid-term, 30+ night stays.
That flexibility serves guests with very different housing needs. Traveling nurses, contractors, and consultants may need a furnished home for several weeks or months. Relocating families may need a place to stay while house-hunting, while insurance-displaced households may need temporary accommodations that feel more like home than a hotel.
Vacationers and weekend visitors are also an important part of the guest mix, filling the gaps between mid-term stays. Resulting in an impressive 87.4 percent average occupancy across their portfolio.
For owners, Concierge Collection often works with investors seeking a hands-off revenue stream and absentee homeowners who aren't ready to sell but don't want a property sitting empty. Owners can still reserve time to use the home themselves while allowing it to generate income during open dates.
As the company continues to grow, Jenell says the focus remains on finding properties that fit the collection and owners who value attentive property care and hands-off management.
Property owners begin with a qualification call to discuss the home, their goals, and whether the partnership is a good fit. From there, the team schedules a walkthrough and prepares a detailed revenue analysis.
For Jenell, the work has always been about more than managing properties. It is about caring for someone’s investment, welcoming someone into a home, and making sure both feel looked after from the moment the booking is made.
